Gene Bader cutting western saddle 16 inch great for working cow horse. I bought this saddle used and in good condition. It does not fit the horse I bought it for. The previous owner said that he had his saddle maker restore the seat and fleece. The stitching has been mended. The leather on the back housing and skirt has some tiny surface cracks. Please see photos for reference. The skirt is somewhat stiff, but the saddle is usable. Ive oiled it, and it gets softer with each oiling. The fenders and jockey are roughout, and are flexible, not super soft, but not stiff. This saddle is NON RETURNABLE. This sale is FINAL. It has a 16 inch padded seat and is very comfortable. The floral tooling is beautiful. The overall skirt length is 27 1/2 inches. The real wool is extra thick. This saddle is very good quality. You have found a really good Circle Y saddle made right here in the great state of Texas in Mountain Home. This is designed for cutting however, you won’t find a better saddle for just about any ranch work, trail riding or show. This saddle has a good seat, good fenders no cracks, good stirrups, good skirt no cracks, good rawhide horn, a like new wool bottom and it comes with a latigo, off billet and a good girth. As you take a look at the images offered, you will see the detailed tooling, silver chonchos, silver skirt corner trim plates and even a silver Circle Y button that covers the top of the rawhide wrapped horn. The tooling looks great all around, on the skirt and on the fenders and again, no cracks. All the silver looks great. The the rawhide horn is in good shape and yea, the wool bottom looks near new. The billet is in good shape as well as the latigo and the girth. As you look at the images, you will see a small silver button at the bottom of the skirt about. S in Mountain Home. This saddle has a good seat, good fenders, good stirrups, good skirt, good rawhide horn, a like new wool bottom and it comes with a latigo, off billet and a good girth. As you take a look at the images offered, you will see the detailed tooling, silver c. These are the buttons that snap leather cover where you attach your rear billets. No billets and rear girth? Just leave the flaps buttoned and you will have what you see. Super nice little 16″ saddle by Weaver- stamp and serial number on rear of cantle – see photos- 16″ seat and 7 gullet with FQHB. Skirts are 24 long- making it a minimal outer skirt – so saddle is solid but lightweight- ranch style cantle and design- rigging is inskirt at 3/4 spot- to center it on the horses back. Strings all around for your gear- Fleece underside looks like it has seen little actual use – as does the rest of the saddle. Stirrups are heavy wood with metal overlay and leather footbeds. This is built like a quality saddle that will last- heavy duty hardware and stitchwork on this is very nice! I could not find one of these when searching online- but it sure will make someone a super nice trail saddle for the season. This is a REAL saddle!
