Very nice saddle with history. This saddle is a 15″ seat and 7″ gullet. Stanley had this saddle rebuilt from the tree up in 2003 and at that time he gifted it to his good friend Dink Woolman. When he was no longer able to ride we acquired the saddle. In 2003 the saddle was rebuilt by Sindy Reeve Mesa Colorado. Both sides of the saddle have hand tooling documenting the ownership, gifting, and rebuilding dates and names – see pictures. Here is a Rare Vintage Antique Fred Mueller. 15 Hi-Back Ranch Saddle. Made in Denver, Co. It was probably made in the 1930’s to the 1940s. Saddle is in good condition with no damage. Has leather covered wood tree, Semi-QH Bars and Brass Front Riggin Dee. It’s Stamped “FRED MUELLER MAKER DENVER, COLO” on back jockey and the front seat. Stirrups are bent wood with a tin covering. The Fork and the Seat Rim has some scrapes and wear. The back of the cantle has some dried white paint or adhesive on it. Underside sheep wool covering in very good condition with a couple of small bald patches. Comes with Original Breast Collar and Belt. Seat: 15″ Gullet: 6.25″ Skirt: 26″ Horn: 3.5″ Fork/Swell: 14″ Cantle Height: 5.25″. Stirrups: 29″-37″ (adjustable).
