Antique Mexican-style tooled dark leather Victorian sidesaddle. From my research online I believe this saddle is from Jeremiah Whitson, but I there is no label. Saddle measures approximately 27″ in length and 17″ wide. Saddle shows some obvious wear from age with some cracks and tears in the leather. Velvet has mostly been worn off from the seat and tooling is faded, but piece looks great. All items are described to the best of my knowledge, if any item is not as I have described, please. Here is a Rare Vintage Antique Fred Mueller. 15 Hi-Back Ranch Saddle. Made in Denver, Co. It was probably made in the 1930’s to the 1940s. Saddle is in good condition with no damage. Has leather covered wood tree, Semi-QH Bars and Brass Front Riggin Dee. It’s Stamped “FRED MUELLER MAKER DENVER, COLO” on back jockey and the front seat. Stirrups are bent wood with a tin covering. The Fork and the Seat Rim has some scrapes and wear. The back of the cantle has some dried white paint or adhesive on it. Underside sheep wool covering in very good condition with a couple of small bald patches. Comes with Original Breast Collar and Belt. Seat: 15″ Gullet: 6.25″ Skirt: 26″ Horn: 3.5″ Fork/Swell: 14″ Cantle Height: 5.25″. Stirrups: 29″-37″ (adjustable).
