Here is as unique Sensation Western Sport treeless saddle with a 16 seat that is in like new condition, with less than 30 minutes of use. This saddle was made from a one-of-a-kind cowhide called’heavy oatmeal’. It is a light neutral tan color and has some characteristics like pull-up leather so it will get more beautiful with each ride. The seat leather is a soft, slightly grippy leather called’dove grey’. There is a gorgeous contrasting brilliant turquoise leather trim all around. The grab strap is made of matching turquoise biothane. It has a swommel, which is a narrow swell (reduces interference when posting), the regular western cantle, and medium length stirrup leathers. It features three removable billets on each side, medium blue seat foam, and stainless steel hardware. The seat of the saddle can be lifted off to allow for customization with the pommel bolster and cantle bolster. Both together can reduce the seat size to accommodate a smaller rider. This saddle is designed to fit a wide variety of horses. The Nickers Saddlery/Sensation website has fitting information. Included with the saddle is the Ecogold Phalene saddle pad with coolmax underside, which was designed for the western sport model and attaches to the underside of the saddle with velcro. This is great for ease of saddling and keeping the pad in place during a ride. A Fleeceworks full western seat saver with cantle cover in’cream’ will also be included. It is made entirely of sheepskin except for the backside of the cantle cover (polyfleece), and the tie strings and velcro, of course. This seat saver has really nice thick wool. The trail bells shown in the photo are also included. This saddle was used for two very short rides (less than half an hour total) when it arrived, then my horse suffered an injury that has resulted in his retirement. The saddle has sat on a contoured stand in my home ever since. I have held onto the saddle, knowing it is a color combination that cannot be duplicated, but I haven’t been able to connect with a new horse, so it is time to let another horse and rider enjoy this beautiful saddle.
