Allegany Mountain Trail Saddle: Renegade Endurance 16 HA Bar. Very good used condition. Two tone black and brown. Single cross border stamp. Footman’s loops front and back. Steele Tree, HA Bar for wide flat backed horses (Haflinger). Comfortable padded seat, very secure. I thought my horse had a flat back, but this saddle was made for a flatter back. I have another AMTS Renegade for a different horse and love it. This is a lovely saddle for the right horse. Please let me know if you need any further information. If youre looking for a top quality, comfortable riding, Wade style saddle, you will find it all in this Ortho-Flex Renegade saddle, (Orthoflex RG191-16). Other tack shown or displayed such as reins, bits, headstall, etc. Are not included, but are or will be listed in my other auctions. This saddle contains top of the line materials and was hand made in Nevada, Missouri where Len Brown started the Ortho-Flex saddle company. This saddle is comfortable for both horse and rider. For the horse, the patented Ortho-Flex panel system conforms and moves with the horse to eliminate high pressure points common with other saddles. For the rider, the Renegade model is a naturally comfortable deep seated saddle with a high cantle and a cushion layer of wetsuit neoprene foam sewn in beneath the seat covering to provide all day riding comfort. This 1 owner saddle is in excellent used condition, having been well cared for, regularly cleaned and oiled, and always stored indoors. Beautiful and comfortable saddle!! I asked Allegany to describe the saddle fit of this saddle from the serial number and was told. Yes, Semi QH fit. Fit more appendix style QH or thoroughbred types if you need to describe it. J bar, 6.75″ gullet, 15″ inlay seat. Two tone, brown and oak leather. Inside-out fender with rose design. Leather covered tooled stirrups. Horseshoe brand hardware w/ black inlay. Drop ring for 3 point rigging. Overall length, 21 1/2. Allegany Mountain Renegade Endurance Trail Saddle 15 inch seat

It is in superb used condition with only very minor cosmetic blemishes – not scuffed, or dirty. It has a 15 inch ultra padded seat (an upgrade) that is super comfy and secure. The length of the saddle from back to front is 22 inches – a very small footprint which was perfect for my short backed Icelandic. It weighs in at 22 pounds. Really nice grippy caged endurance stirrups. Wool felt bottom, floral stainless steel hardware, beautiful tooling, and lots of latigos. The gullet is listed as a 7 inch. Allegany Mountain saddles are Amish built and so will last forever. I took 2 pictures of the gullet. One is measured a little higher than the other. The slight flare in the tree bars is why my narrow Icey boy fell short. He just didn’t have the back width and muscle for it to sit without rocking. I was able to correct it with a pad but another saddle came into our lives and so I’m ready to pass it on. Here is info on the saddle tree: Gaited CM (custom) bar Very similar to the AW bar tree with the following slight differences 1 A less convex (flatter) front bar pad 2 The outside edge of the bar has been flared out at the waist of the tree in order to accommodate ribs extending more horizontally from the spine I’m thinking maybe a Haflinger, small Quarter Horse, small draft type/mix, average conformation Icelandic or an Arabian type conformation but this is only an opinion and isn’t a testimonial of fact.
