Bona Allen 16 Slick Seat Ranch Saddle. Bona Allen western ranch saddle. This saddle has been put to good use but still has plenty of good rides left! It has a 16 slick seat, full skirt, basket weave tooling and tie strings. Narrow tree; 6 6.5 gullet. There are no known or obvious structural defects with this saddle. Stirrup leather appear in great shape. Fleece lining looks like new (may have been replaced recently). Tie strings have also recently been replaced. Cosmetic blemishes and normal wear for age (see pictures). Horn: Leather wrapped, 2 1/2 height w/2 1/4 cap. Cantle: 3 1/2 high; Pencil roll. 6.0 – 6.5. Rigging: Stainless steel O-Ring Rigging. Bona Allen 15 Vintage Ranch/Trail Saddle. This saddle is a classic! Yes, its been put to good use but its still in good enough condition to get years of use or keep around as a spare/backup saddle. Dark brown with basket weave tooling on skirts and partial seat. Some cosmetic blemishes and scratches as shown in the pictures. One silver concho is missing on the left side and has been replaced by a leather concho. Fleece lining has a cut/tear about 3 – 4 long (see picture). Stainless Steel Front & Rear Rigging. 2.5 Stirrup Leathers. Silver Conchos (1 missing) with Leather tie strings front & rear. Pommel strap w/buckle (right side) for hanging rope or cinch. Pommel tie strap left side. Leather tie strap and Nylon off-billet included. Back Flank in-skirt slots with leather billets both sides. Stirrups: Leather covered, laced. Horn: 3 height w/ 3.5 cap. Pre-owned Circle Y Flex2 Flex Tree Western Trail Saddle 15 Seat

The owner says these flex tree saddles fit a lot of horses. Very comfy seat- nice high back makes you feel secure. Light weight for a leather western saddle this size. I measured the gullet at 7. Very good condition but their kitty cat did scratch the cantle (under back – hard to see – in my photos). And on the pommel/swell (see front view shots). They actually look worse in the photos than in real life. I did, however, photograph it in the outdoors in sunlight so you could see the scratches. Also a scratch (not cat) on back right skirt of saddle and a notch out of cantle above that scratch. Not really super deep scratches – brown dye would probably do wonders.
