Straight up, Rawhide Pencil Roll cantle. Oregon Crossover rope strap. Ridden by a ranch foreman on one of Californias premier cattle ranches. I took this like-new custom McCall Northwest Wade saddle in trade for a hard-to-fit horse. McCall’s Timberline tree has less rock for the horse that has a straighter back. Wide, high gullet and flatter Modified Quarter Horse mule bars fit the horse tremendously well. One of the most comfortable saddles Ive ever ridden. Under the silver concho on the rear jockey, there’s a scrape in the leather. Aluminum alloy Crooked Stirrups ® saved my knees in the high country. NW Wade is one of McCall’s most popular styles. McCall Lady Wade 15 Ranch Slick Fork A-Fork Saddle. Lovely Lady Wade saddle with floral and leaf tooling, SQH bars. Seat and fenders are rough out but both are now fairly smooth from use. Saddle ID 371 909, made in 2009. Seat measures 15 to end of cantle roll but fits closer to 14 3/4. Weighs about 35 lbs. Substantial stainless steel monel stirrups match saddle hardware and are lined in leather. Nice turn in stirrup straps. Saddle has been cleaned and conditioned with Skidmores. Price includes stirrups, back cinch and Kings Saddlery breast collar.
