It is very well made using the Axis tree and Hermann Oak leather by Martin Saddlery in Texas. One feature I really like is the cut-out skirt that offers closer contact and a little more freedom of movement for the rider. Expect to receive a saddle that shows signs of very light usage and one that still needs the stirrup leathers turned. Leather: Chocolate Hermann Oak. Gullet: Extra Wide (7.5). Gullet Height: 7.5. This saddle appears to be a size EXTRA-LARGE as the seat measures approx. 18please see picture #9 to see where and how I got this measurement. The size X Large is recommended for up to a 215 lb. Person, swell to cantle measures 21. This saddle has been VERY lightly used and is in excellent, nearly new condition! Minimal, mild signs of SUCH light use–I believe the previous owner said she only sat in it once to try, didn’t fit, and then took it home. Just a little dust and debris really.
