Here is a vintage 16 pre-owned high-end Hereford Textan Yoakum Texas western horse saddle. It weighs about 35 pounds with the straps. It has been at our family’s ranch here in California for quite awhile but hasn’t been used for over twenty. Years when the last horse died. It’s in good condition for an older saddle except for several scratches and stains which I do my best to show in the photos. Not being an equestrian myself, I have included photographs with a ruler showing measurements. The numbers on the saddle are: 1336I (1336 and the letter I) and below that 87-75504. Hereford Brand Tex Tan of Yoakum 15 1/2 Saddle. Nicely padded 15 1/2″ suede seat with a 4″ cantle. Skirt is 25 with slots for rear rigging. The leather is not cracked!! No Dry rot anywhere. Gullet /Full QH bars. Newer metal bound wood roper style stirrups. 3 wide leather stirrup straps. Quick change buckle stirrup adjustment. Weighs approx 34 lbs. Big 15 Hereford Brand Textan Western Horse Saddle

USED WESTERN HORSE SADDLE. (Measures 16 from base of horn to stitching on seat). FULL RIGGED WITHOUT BACK RIGGING. QUICK CHANGE FOR STIRRUP HARDWARE. LEATHER GIRTH STRAP & LEATHER CINCH STRAP. ONE CONCHO ON RIGHT FRONT DOES NOT MATCH. Stirrups do not match. One decorative and the other plain. RIGHT LEATHER STIRRUP STRAP SHOWS REPAIR. This saddle is heavy and has a solid tree in it. The leather is in fair condition considering it’s age. There are surface cracks throughout. There are a scrapes & scratches from use. The saddle has been recently oiled and Black Rock applied.
