Tex Tan Hereford Show Pleasure Equitation Saddle ; Vintage; 15″ seat; Quarter Horse Bars; Skirt is 27″; Weight is near 34#; Heavily Tooled; Real Silver trimmed conchos, corner plates, horn cap. Includes off-billet and tie strap. Saddle has only had two owners and I’ve only ridden in it a few times. This saddle hails from the era when Tex Tan manufactured, heavy, durable, long-lasting, forever saddles. It remains barely broken in. A real treasure for someone! Signs of age and use include: Thinning of the wool fleece in areas on the underside. As shown in the pic of the rope edge on cantle, there are a number of tiny, round insect holes in various places.
