This is a used Saltgrass Saddlery ranch strip down saddle in excellent condition. It was made in New Braunfels, Texas. The overall skirt length is 27 inches. It has a 13 inch swell, 3 inch horn, 2 1/2 inch horn cap, and approx. A 4 1/2 inch cantle. The saddle was built on a 16 inch tree. It has a bicycle seat and beautiful tooling. The fenders and jockeys are roughout. The rigging is flat plate. It has a matching back cinch but no front girth. The stirrups are rawhide covered deep ropers. This is a used Ranch saddle made by Robert Teskey in Aubrey, Texas. It has a 16 inch hard seat. The seat, jockeys, fenders, and bottom skirt are rough out. The rest of the saddle is waffle tooled with floral and leaf tooling on the corners and pammel. The cantle is approx. 4 1/2 inches tall, the overall skirt length is 28 inches, the gullet is approx. 7 1/4 inches, the horn is 3 1/2 inches tall with a horn cap diameter of 2 3/4 inches. The stirrups are wood with aluminum covering. There is a matching back cinch, but no front girth. It has never been roped out of. This is a very stout made saddle that I had made by a saddle maker who lived in Greenville TX. He worked for Dale Martin but was retired and built this out of his house. I had the handy handles put on the back because I rode a tall horse. Makes for a easy on and off. The leather is all still supple and in good shape. I worked out of it but cleaned and oiled it regularly. It is very comfortable.
