17 Rocking R Wade Roping Saddle. For our hardworking ranchers out there, Rocking R has another great option for your next partner! Not only is this a heck of a work saddle, this one is a real looker too. This saddle is a true A Fork Wade, with a post horn that measures 3″ x 4.25″, built right to hold up to even the hardest of work. This American made ranch saddle will endure a lot of stress with its double fiberglass reinforced Steele Equi-Fit wood tree. On QH bars, measuring 6.75 with a very wide fork angle, wide through the whole tree, fitting a horse well. Does have some good rock to the bars. 7/8 position drop yoke rigging, set back just enough to open up the shoulder, and has a rounded 28.5 skirt. This one is a true 17″, even with the very deep seat a 3.5″ cantle. Smooth seat with a suede bicycle inlayed padding. Stirrup leathers are laid on the top of the fenders, giving this a real classic look. Comes fully rigged with lots of strings for packing. This is a heavier saddle, weighing in at 39lbs. Fenders have been adjusted to go very short, perfect for a short rider but still original stirrups so will go long as well. In good condition all around, leather is nice and a bit dry. It has spend some time on the horn, so has a bit of creasing around the horn, but we are being picky at this point. Mainly been a trail saddle, no indication that its held a rope.
