See all pics showing seat and gullet measurements, etc. Wide gullet, 7.5. 30″ skirts, tapaderos 16″ tall, saddle weighs 40#, plus bridle and br collar. Bridle and br collar are not original Bona Allen, the bridle is newly made, br coll is same vintage as saddle, been repaired and goes well together. Finish shows wear on quite a few spots up close. There are 4 spots missing on saddle, which we are including new ones to be added. No reins with headstall, bit included. Fleece is good, there is a small place near the front on one side that has a place where fleece is worn. WILL MAKE A GOOD USING PARADE OUTFIT OR GREAT DECORATION FOR HOME, OFFICE OR ANYWHERE YOU LIKE. Vintage serape not included. Then I tried the saddle on the horse to see if the saddle would lift in the rear like my other saddles. Well, it did a little, but I moved the cinch straps back to the second front ring on both sides and cinched it down. No more lift in the rear. I can’t wait to try it out this weekend. This has convinced me in getting 2 more saddles. Then I will have to sell my other 2 Billy Cook saddles. This saddle fits perfect and sitting in the saddle is a comfort that is unbelieveably awesome. You will see more of me very soon. I’m going to have my daughter sit in it then switch over to her Billy Cook show saddle. I’m sure she will ask for her own too. After going up and down hills, over water, jumping several felled trees and riding through all 4 gaits, I have to say that this is the most comfortable saddle for both my horse and I – EVER! I was amazed that I never had that “I gotta get my feet out of these stirrups for a stretch” feeling. The free swinging fenders really took the pressure off my knees and ankles. The thick padding used for the memory foam seat also made things supremely comfortable, all through the ride. The Bear Traps on the saddle really locked me in during a fast gallop down a long road. At 48, I felt like I had a seat as balanced as when I was 17. Your materials are first class. Your customer service was above and beyond my expectations. Custom made western saddle by Dave Hulbert

This is a beautiful custom made ranch saddle by Dave Hulbert Custom Saddles. He made me this saddle in 2004. It is fully tooled Herman Oak Leather. It has a loop seat on a Wade tree. It has a 15 1/2″ seat with a 4″ cantle and rawhide Cheyenne roll. It has a 5 Guadalajara horn. The horn cap is 18ga solid silver made by Mike Richardson. The cantle plate, conchos and buckles were also made by Richardson. Everything but the buckles are solid silver. The buckles are silver over steel. It has a rawhide hoble ring and Leatherman Tool carrier on the rear cinch. The stirrups are turned so they stay straight and don’t torque your knees. It has a rope carrier on the horn and comes with 2 breast collars. One with silver and one without and fully tooled saddle pockets if you need to pack a lunch.
