I just bought this saddle used and got it a couple days ago. Its got a nice deep seat and tons of loops and ties to hook saddle bags on or hang ropes from. PERFECT for trail riding which is why I was so excited about it. I cleaned the saddle up a bit when I got it so it looks even better than these pictures make it look. Its only been ridden in a handful of times, the leather is soft and supple, READY TO RIDE no turning the stirrups needed. The previous owner just had to many saddles and this one wasn’t being used enough to stick around. Johnny Ruff is a local saddle maker in FL. His saddles are all hand crafted and are Highly reviewed as a great economy saddle. You get a big bang for your buck with these saddles. Circle Y Western Show Saddle. Park & Trail Equitation #3604. Tree Size: Wide Tree FQHB (Full Quarter Horse Bars) Durahide hard wood tree with Fiberglass wrap. Color: Dark Oil Antique (The serial number indicates Dark Oil Antique, but the saddle looks more like Circle Y’s classic Walnut). Padded Chocolate Suede leather. Cantle Height: 3.5. Skirt length: 27.5. Gullet width measured inside concho to concho: 7.5. Date of manufacture: April 2000. Once or twice a year we will get a saddle on trade where we are simply AMAZED by how well cared for it is. This is certainly that special saddle. This came to us in a bag, and it was pristine clean when we opened the bag. The leather is supple, there is very little wear on any of the saddle. Very obvious that this saddle has been well loved. DO NOT pass up this listing, the condition alone is such a rare and remarkable thing.. We rarely ever see them this nice. This Park and Trail saddle from Circle Y is designed to be used every day as a trail or work saddle, but dressed up enough to go right to a show. Super comfy and secure PADDED suede seat on this one! It is marked as one of the equitation models, so the stirrups are hung long and straight to encourage better posture rather than a trail style chair seat. We’ve been a Circle Y dealer for 20 years, and this Durahide tree is one of the easiest to fit trees that Circle Y has ever offered. It’s a hard wood tree with the fiberglass wrap in the Wide Tree size(full quarter horse bars). This particular tree seems to fit a broad range of horse sizes easily. Perfect if you need the saddle to work for multiple horses, not just that special one. It also has the 3-way adjustable rigging that will also help with three different options for placing the girth to fit better on multiple horses. The saddle measures a 16 seat size. The tree is perfectly sound- rock solid, and there is no damage anywhere on the saddle for us to mention. No odors (cat, smoke, mold), no mold or dry rot; this saddle is incredibly clean. SUPER gorgeous DALE CHAVEZ custom show saddle lightly used. Gullet is a generous 7+ Inches.. Tons of stunning engraved silver with brass accents. Matching breast collar is missing one connector. Not sure were that went, may find it when I move. However, a different set could be put on and still look awesome. Saddle is cut out under leg for close contact. This is an amazing saddle and retailed new for thousands more. All leather and silver has been professionally cleaned and inspected. All tight and in excellent condition.
