This is a Simco Saddle in good used condition. This saddle is numbered and I see the Simco flower on the horn but no other maker’s mark. It is black with lots of tooling and a striking russet orange seat and jockeys. The seat measures 15″ and the skirt measures 24″ front to back. It is lightweight at 20 lbs. It measures 5-1/2 across at the base of the gullet. It has brass in-skirt rigging and the genuine sheepskin fleece is in good condition. It does not have billets or latigo. It has wood stirrups with leather wrapped at the footbed. The stirrups adjust with buckles (not Blevins) that are marked with an anchor. This saddle has seen some use and has signs of. There are expected scuffs, scratches and wear to the leather. It is dusty and could use a good detailing and conditioning. There is no cracking, weather damage, broken or damaged areas.
