Model #561 Synergist endurance saddle, John De Petrie Equitation model, brown leather with wide tree that is adjustable to a wide or x-wide horse via the Synergist company. Made for woman 54, 140 lbs with 29 inseam. Approximately 29 years old. 15 seat with attached sheepskin, original fenders have been replaced. Missing one of the cantle latigos but saddle is in good overall condition. Very comfy to ride in, weighs approximately 22 lbs with stirrups. Sheepskin fleece on underside is in overall great shape with some staining that is cosmetic only. Has dressage billets that may have some surface cracking. This saddle features a tan suede equitation seat, regular oil in color with floral tooling (by the numbers on this saddle it was a light oil, we would say it is now more of a darker regular oil color). This saddle has fancy silver plates and conchos(the cantle plate does have a name engraved in it). Higher style horn with silver cap. Leather wrapped floral tooled stirrups. This Saddle does have some discoloration on the jockey and fenders (see photos) from use cleaning and conditioning these areas can not be seen when in the saddle. This saddle is older but is in good shape and ready to take a new rider into the show pen. Handmade Porter ranch saddle. Definitely a cream Puff older extremely well made saddle! E in WONDERFUL used shape with highest grade supple strong leather – FQHB rawhide wrapped wood tree – 15 seat – in skirt rigging – perfect fleece – always taken care of – Will come with a rear cinch also. It’s an older saddle that was custom made and it has been lightly used and never abused. I used to rope with the Porters in the late 70’s / early 1980’s – always will fondly remember Mr Porter rolling up in his station wagon pulling a 2-horse straight load – and being not only a GREAT saddlemaker but an excellent horseman as well.
