14.5 15 Hand Crafted Excellent Used Crates Roping Saddle Also Good Pleasue Trail

This is a quality used western roping saddle that is also good for pleasure and trail riding. It is hand crafted by Crates Saddlery of Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a fine saddle…. If our folks didn’t have such big guts and big butts on our ranch, we’d be keepin this one in use around here!! It has 2287-2 on the cinch keeper and about a 14.5 to 15 inch seat depending on how you measure, and what we’d call regular quarter horse bars with about a 7 inch gullet. See pictures to verify measurements. The rawhide covered tree is solid and sound and the horn is tight. It has the good stirrup leathers that are original length and not cut or shortened. It has breast collar D rings and hoof pick holder complete with pick. It comes rigged to ride with all the rigging shown in the pictures. New front off billet, good used front cinch strap, new leather flank girth, and used flank billets. It only needs front girth of your choosing.. Saddle weighs about 38 pounds and the liner is good. Buck-stitched Leather western saddle. Solid rawhide covered wood tree. Approximately 7 inch gullet. 17 inch padded suede seat. (may fit closer to 16 inch due to being a padded seat). Saddle strings are good, go all the way thru the tree. Includes matching rear cinch billets. Front cinch billets included. Off billet is leather, on billet is nylon. Saddle has front d rings for breast collar, and a swell ring for rope keeper. Areas of wear — one stirrup has bottom wear leather coming off and 2 screws in the wood. As shown in picture, one front cinch ring has a layer of leather worn away. Ring is still attached to saddle, but is worn. Included also is a One ear Bridle. May only be good for parts. Reins are braided nylon roping. Solid mouth curb bit in good condition. Has some hair but is not stiff and matted with sweat. Please see pictures for full details. Feel free to ask questions.
