The saddle was lightly used mainly for NRHA shows and has always been stored inside a climate controlled, finished basement. The carrier bag and cinch will be included, but not the pads, blanket or stand. It has some minor discoloration on the left rear corner of the skirt that will likely blend with a cleaning or leather treatment. It has other patina on the leather stirrups. That comes with normal use. The saddle is a one owner but the owner sadly is in his seventies and will not likely have need for it again. Steele Tree, HA Bar for wide flat backed horses (Haflinger). Comfortable padded seat, very secure. I thought my horse had a flat back, but this saddle was made for a flatter back. I have another AMTS Renegade for a different horse and love it. This is a lovely saddle for the right horse. Please let me know if you need any further information. Very intricately carved, and beautiful western roping saddle. Obviously handmade and handcarved by a very skilled individual, but he left no name that I have found. There is finely done buckstitched edging which is subtle and very attractive. The seat is lovely, inlaid, triple stitched with a beautiful design, and attractively presented. It is a full 16 inches from the base of the horn to the inside rim of the cantle. The cantle is the old elephant ear type, and the measure of 16 inches, although confusing in the photo above, is to the inside rim. The stirrup leathers are excellent and adjust with an old Blevins buckle system. The stirrups themselves are leather covered, carved to match the saddle and are good. The horn is a large, southwestern style, and both horn and tree are tight. Even the underside of the pommel is carved. The gullet is a full 6 inches, and the skirts are long, measuring 28 inches. The saddle was just lightly washed, and the color reflects that moisture in places. The saddle color will be darker, as it appears in some of the photos. The flash of the camera lightened the color a bit. I believe this can be seen in photos 4 and 5.
