A Marilyn Horstmyer saddle, custom made 10 or so years ago for a Rocky Mountain trail horse, currently was on our 15 hand Quarter/Arab cross. This has a bit of wear but is in great condition overall. From Marilyn’s website: the “trees are made from desert dried Rocky Mountain Lodgepole pine”. In the blurry tape measure shot, the seat is 16, the area under the saddle that runs along the horses spine is. Approx 2 1/4″ wide, the bars are approx 6 1/2″ wide, it appears this saddle can be called a “semi QH”. Weight is 16 lbs w/o the girth.
