The Phoenix Rising Imus 4-Beat Saddle is built with our unique flexible tree, leather suspended ground seat, and Supracor padding under the saddle, in the seat and stirrups. These saddles work beautifully for all horse types, gaited and non-gaited. Comfort and the ability to move unimpeded under saddle are important for every horse, no matter how it moves. The unique forward placement design places the rider in the comfortably balanced bareback position, just behind the withers. The front edges of the bars of the tree cup around the shoulder with only light contact, allowing complete rotation of the shoulder without uncomfortable interference from the saddle tree (pressure points). This also places the riders weight at the strongest point of the horses back, and keeps the saddle in front of the loinsanother common area prone to pressure soreness.
