This Custom McCall Northwest Wade saddle is beautifully done as a smoothout with 3/4 Basket stamp tooling and part Acorn & Oak Leaf design. 3/4 Hamley Flat Plate Brass rigging. Straight up, Rawhide Pencil Roll cantle. Oregon Crossover rope strap. Ridden by a ranch foreman on one of Californias premier cattle ranches. I took this like-new custom McCall Northwest Wade saddle in trade for a hard-to-fit horse. McCall’s Timberline tree has less rock for the horse that has a straighter back. Wide, high gullet and flatter Modified Quarter Horse mule bars fit the horse tremendously well. One of the most comfortable saddles Ive ever ridden. Under the silver concho on the rear jockey, there’s a scrape in the leather. Aluminum alloy Crooked Stirrups ® saved my knees in the high country. NW Wade is one of McCall’s most popular styles.
