Double T Saddlery Barrel Style Saddle with Brown Filigree Seat and Tooling. This saddle features Medium oil basket weave tooled skirts with floral tooled accents, pommel and cantle. Skirts, fenders and jockeys have a serpentine tooled border. Brown filigree top grain leather seat. Rough out fenders and jockeys. Saddle is accented with cut out cross conchos, silver laced rawhide cantle and rawhide braided horn. This saddle comes equipped with leather off billet and latigo, front D rings and alluminum stirrups. Seat: 14″, 15″, 16 Brown Filigree Top Grain Leather. Horn: 3 Rawhide Braided. 14″-10 X 23″. 15″-10.5″ x 24.5. 16″-11″ x 25. Stirrup Adjustment: 30″ to 36″ Stirrup adjustment is measured from center of the seat to the top of the tread. At a recent tack sale, I received several comments saying “That’s a nice saddle” and ” it’s worth the price”. Structurally the saddle is extremely sound, leather has some scuffing. I used this saddle for trail riding, but it may be a reining saddle. Ample room for a horse with wider shoulders, but higher whithers. This is for a pre owned Tucker High Plains Western pleasure trail saddle. It has nice high 6″ cantle and the skirt is 25″. It has the nice comfy gel seat for those long trail rides. It has a medium wide tree and the gullet measures about 7. It has dropped rigging and all brass or stainless hardware. Tucker saddles are an American made saddle that excels in outstanding quality and comfort so you enjoy every mile of the trail. The High Plains saddle is the perfect combination of a wider swell and a deeper seat with a higher, back supporting cantle that keeps you comfortably balanced so you can focus on the scenery. Saddles are handmade using only top grain leather on the patented DURAhide trees. Brass hardware and plenty of rings to attach bags and cases to carry all trail necessities. Wool felt lined skirt Gel-Cush Shock Absorbing seat never bottoms out and will not freeze, melt or pop in extreme temperatures. Higher cantle supports the back and wider swell keeps riders positioned comfortably and correctly. ErgoBalance Stirrups decreases knee and ankle fatigue. Rigging: Adjustable Position in Skirt. There are some marks on the seat and some discoloration but the leather is all intact and only superficial. I cleaned and oiled it but I recommend oiling it some more. On the underside there are a few holes in the felt in the back but it is still good and doesn’t need to be replaced or anything. It also has the saddle strings for tying things to your saddle and front dees and crupper for mountain riding. It comes with an off billet and tie strap. Great saddle with many years left.
