Here is a very nice used all leather Haflinger sized western saddle. A SIMCO Saddle, made in the USA. This is built on a “haflinger tree” – so it is designed to fit a haflinger with a short back, low withers. I tried this on several haflingers at our barn. It fits a mid-sized Haffie very well. Our model in the photo is about 14 hh and in an english saddle he wears a medium /medium wide. This is short enough for his back, and it is fairly flat front to back, so it does not rock. The back of the saddle is fairly flat also, so it sets on his back nicely. Unfortunately, it did not fit my 14.2 hh haffie that wears an extra wide in a dressage saddle. She needs more of a draft size saddle. This comes with both a brown nylon cinch strap and the off billet – they just were not on it for the photos. The pad shown is not included. Super nice little 16″ saddle by Weaver- stamp and serial number on rear of cantle – see photos- 16″ seat and 7 gullet with FQHB. Skirts are 24 long- making it a minimal outer skirt – so saddle is solid but lightweight- ranch style cantle and design- rigging is inskirt at 3/4 spot- to center it on the horses back. Strings all around for your gear- Fleece underside looks like it has seen little actual use – as does the rest of the saddle. Stirrups are heavy wood with metal overlay and leather footbeds. This is built like a quality saddle that will last- heavy duty hardware and stitchwork on this is very nice! I could not find one of these when searching online- but it sure will make someone a super nice trail saddle for the season. This is a REAL saddle! Beautiful Hereford Tex Tan Pro Barrel saddle- half breed style with tooling and rough out contrast. Saddle is a 14.5 in seat. Measured from the back of the pommel to the seat seam. Skirts are 25″ long and gullet measures 7″ between the front conchos- so could be full quarter bars on this one. In Very good used condition- not abused- Rawhide wrapped horn is tight as is the tree and Under side fleece still looks good. Stirrups are heavyweight aluminum barrel stirrups – saddle is rigged in the skirt and has a nice nylon off billet and tie strap. Comes with a used nice string style blue girth. And pink fleece pad. Suede seat still looks good with little wear at all – and saddle has some nice conchos and neat scalloped cantle. Rough out fenders and jockeys will really give a great sticky feel when you are going full tilt around the cans! Nice saddle and will surely be a bargain with no reserve!
