1860 Texas Hope Saddle, new. The wood tree is modeled after an 1860 ca Texas Hope Saddle tree in my collection. The tree was made by Bowden Saddle Trees. The leather is 16 oz bark tanned American Cow Hide; fleece is also 3/4 bark tanned. Conchos are bass rounds with 3 brass cinch rings. I’ve retired and closed my shop.

You will receive this old vintage saddle. I do not know much about this. It still looks nice though. I could find a name on it. I took lots of pictures to show you condition. I dont know if anything is missing on it. Google lenses pops up so many saddles saying it is western, military. But I dont know. I can say it still displays nice and is just cool. I know some good markers did not always mark their saddles. Please look at photos for condition. One Stirrup has a bit of damage too.

To actually measure a tree you need to be down to the tree. (which no one does) That is why we use the letter designation. It will fit Your average narrower Horse or a lot of your Thouroughbred type horses. Most horses with a average back and a good pocket behind the wither.
