Vintage Sean Ryon Western Show Saddle – Med / Dark Oil color is almost a medium havana oil. Pictures 8 and 10 are most accurate on color. Close up of Acorn pattern is pretty accurate on color. 16″ Padded Smooth leather seat FQHB 7″ Gullet. Loaded with Old Vogt SOLID Sterling Silver marked’Mexico Sterling. Cinch not included – brand new leather latigo – back rigging included. Original red and white metal hoof pick is still in the leather knife / pick pouch. Saddle has Diablo Sterling Silver Overlay Stirrups. Wool fleece is all there and in excellent condition. Leather is very soft and clean – been very well maintained. Additional Pictures available – ask any questions before purchasing. This is 1 of 6 saddles I will be listing in the next month including a Victor Quality, Dale Tingle, Texas Made Training Saddle (similar in quality to Circle Y or Dakota), Harris and an older Silver Mesa Saddle. Feedback left after I know it has been received. Every saddle goes through a 10 point safety inspection. What is included in the inspection? Tree, latigo, off billet, rigging, cinch (if included) all D rings, stirrups, stirrup leathers, blevin buckles, stitching and fleece / wool is all secure and in good safe working order. On collector saddles if the repair is cosmetic only – it will be noted in the listing but left as is. If during the inspection its determined a repair or replacement is needed it will be performed by a qualified saddlesmith only. If it costs more (and it usually does) you never pay a cent more! What can I expect when I receive my new saddle? Your new saddle has been cleaned, oiled and treated with a UV wax. Latigo has been cleaned (if not new) and will be neatly tied. If there is silver silver has been polished. When possible it has been removed to clean both sides and remove any residue. If saddle has suede seat seat has been cleaned with suede cleaner. This saddle has probably the nicest seat I have ever sat it. Deep, secure, and comfortable for all day riding. Rod Nikkel makes some of the nicest trees out there, and sadly he is no longer producing any new trees. This saddle is built for wide, bulldog type quarter horses. 7.5″ gullet, 95 degree bars, 4.5″ cantle, 3×4″ horn, 15″ seat, and 4 monel stirrups. The saddle weighs about 38 pounds. The saddle is in great shape. It’s never been in any wrecks or been roped off of.
