Ortho Flex Cutback Endurance Saddle 17.5 endurance seat as stated on the rear plate. This saddle is measured from the front screw on an angle to the center of the seat. Fits like a 15.5 in a western seat. Includes Nunn Finer OTN Breast Plate. I would call the saddle and breast plate color black but very dark brown in the light. This saddle is in good used condition. It is a very comfortable saddle and works well with gaited and non- gaited horses. It comes with original flex panels, in flap rigging, removable western fenders, 2 sets of balance pads, 2 Biothane stirrup leathers, Nylon distance stirrups, Ortho-flex Girth, and Booties. The booties have wear under where the stirrup leathers rubbed (see photos). There is wear on the girth leathers but nothing that affects functionality. I ride a 15 seat and this saddle fits me comfortably. Nunn Finer Hunting breastplate without elastic. This is a FULL/HORSE size. Leather in decent shape. Some extra holes punched in the area that loops around the girth. Some minor cracking on that same area. Previous owner said that this saddle was a Ted Flowers Parade Saddle. It is suggested that his early works do not have stamps or markings on them. His workmanship was known through his silver work. This saddle has no maker markings. Parade saddle is Dark Oil color with hard leather 14 Seat. Seat, skirt, and fenders feature floral tooling pattern. This saddle has 8 large silver corner plates. Saddle is trimmed with silver square conchos with a horse head featured on them. Matching silver continues on to fenders with large plates. Tapaderos have again matching silver conchos and plates and features a beautiful star concho in center. 2 Pommel plates and horn plate. Saddle has matching breast collar with matching silver conchos featuring the horse heads and taps. Saddle also come with matching parade style headstall. Used and in good condition. One Concho is missing on saddle, a silver plate is cracked into two, the breast collar has two taps that have fallen off and are still with the saddle. One tap has been lost. Can be seen in pictures. Full Silver Engraved Large Cantle Plate for Western Show Saddle. Western Show Saddle Full Silver Cantle Plate Do you have a saddle that you want to dress up with Silver? This is a beautiful piece of silver. This cantle plate measures 18 straight across the top from corner to corner. 2″ wide at the widest part in the center and tappers to 3/4″ at the ends. We have also created a template for you which will be included. If you are uncertain if this will fit your saddle please send us a picture of your saddle cantle with a measurement straight across. We need it to measure at least 18 from corner to corner. We have included a picture of this cantle plate on a show saddle however the picture shows it with different conchos. The conchos with screws that come with this plate will be the Diamond with Black Enamel as pictured. What we suggest is to. Place the template on the cantle of your saddle where you want the silver plate to be. Secure the template to the saddle with something like C Clamps. Once you have this done and have the template placed on your saddle where you would like the silver plate to be you will see that we have premarked the holes for you on the template. Now the scary part. You will drill a hole through the cantle of your saddle where each hole is marked on the template. You Must make sure to drill the holes exactly where the holes are marked on the template and make sure the template is secure and does not move. Once you have this done you will be able to remove the template and place the silver cantle plate on your saddle. Start with the center hole and insert that screw first and tighten. From there work your way down the cantle, shaping it to your saddle as you go. Secure and tighten the screws and you are all set! Here is your change to fancy up your saddle for much less. I bought this saddle used a few years ago for my retired dressage horse, was advertised as 15. I measure 16, please see photos. It’s perfect for trail riding and has lots of rings to attach stuff.
