This is for a used Johnny Ruff Custom roughout leather reiner saddle. It is very used but a great saddle. I have never seen a reining saddle with roughout leather or the training rings but the model number is 690 on the latigo keeper and that model is a reining saddle. Johnny Ruff has a shop in Umatilla Florida and this saddle is custom made in the United States. It has an 16 seat seat with a double skirt. It has a 3 cantle and a padded suede seat to help keep you in the saddle and on your horse. It has preturned rawhide laced stirrups and a nice Cheyenne roll. It has a wide tree and the gullet measures about 8. The skirt measures about 28 long and it comes with a leather off billet and tie strap. It has silver conchos and latigo strings on the back dee rings. It weighs about 40 lbs. It’s also stamped 16 on the latigo keeper which is the seat measurement. This is for a used Johnny Ruff Custom Roping Ranch Saddle. Johnny Ruff has a shop in Umatilla Florida and this saddle is made in the United States. It has an 17 seat seat with some nice basketweave tooling the skirt , some of the pommel and the Cheyenne roll. It has nice high 3 1/2 cantle and a Cheyenne roll. It has a medium tree and the gullet measures about 7. The skirt measures 28 long and it comes with an off billet, tie strap and really nice billets for the back rigging but the middle piece is missing. If I find one around I will add it but just assume it doesn’t have the complete back rigging. It has a knife holder on the left side in the back and a wrapped horn. It also has the wrapped and laced stirrups. It weighs about 40 lbs. The serial number on the billet keeper is #600 and it’s also stamped 17 which is the seat measurement. The fleece on the underside looks great. It does have a couple of gouges on the pommel right in front of the horn. I just bought this saddle used and got it a couple days ago. Its got a nice deep seat and tons of loops and ties to hook saddle bags on or hang ropes from. PERFECT for trail riding which is why I was so excited about it. I cleaned the saddle up a bit when I got it so it looks even better than these pictures make it look. Its only been ridden in a handful of times, the leather is soft and supple, READY TO RIDE no turning the stirrups needed. The previous owner just had to many saddles and this one wasn’t being used enough to stick around. Johnny Ruff is a local saddle maker in FL.
