FQHB – 8 gullet (see photo) Art Vancore Style seat (California Equitation) Entz Oakleaf & Acorn W/ Payton Flower design. One of the stirrup leathers tore so our local saddler replaced both leathers to make sure they are balanced. He also replaced the Blevins buckle part that needed replaced on both sides. The new leathers are lighter than the rest of the saddle but he said thats normal and they can be darkened easily by coating them with Mazola oil and putting the saddle out where the sun can hit them until they are the desired darkness. Otherwise, this saddle has been looked over by the saddle shop and looks to be in excellent working order and great condition aside from some minimal scuffs and scratches. Serial number indicates that this saddle was mfg in 1990 by the original Billy Cook. This is the real deal! Fleece is in great shape. Could use some more oil, as it has barely been used and mainly stored. Feel free to request more photos or ask any questions. Bobs Custom Reining saddle 15 to 15.5 seat. Measures 15 to where it rises and 15.5 to the leather. Fully Tooled in Acorn pattern with Classic Silver, not the newer overlay, but the real deal. Saddle comes with a used but good condition pro choice cinch. Leathers for cinch are made by Ricotti Saddle Company. I gave the saddle a once over on the silver and leather but with a proper cleaning youll be ready for the show arena. The original wool is intact, but its worn (see photo). Heck of a price on this fully tooled Bobs. I had an ebayer contact me about the saddle and used the serial number to get more info. Here is what was found.. I contacted Bob’s and here’s what I found out. This is a 1993 Bobs Custom Saddle with an SF Bowman tree that is 8 tall x 6 1/4 wide in the gullet. It has a California style seat, which is our highest rising seat. It has a 15.5 tree, 15 seat. It has a #1 style horn, a 3 cantle and 17.5 fenders, which are our standard length.
