Quilted fenders and jockeys………. I guess I should be flattered that someone did a knock off of my quilted endurance saddle. I originally conceived the idea of a quilted nylon saddle a couple of year ago. Once I made the initial prototype, I know I had a winner. I guess my competitor knew it too. At first I was offended but then realized they couldn’t copy my reputation or my craftsmanship. Attention to all my valued customers……… I just got this message from a regular customer; Rich… A friend was looking for a saddle like my Lewisburg that got stolen last year. She wanted to surprise me for my birthday. The one she got for me looked identical but, “IT WAS NOT ONE OF YOURS” I thanked her and asked her to return it. It sat so wonky on my guy that it would have sored him before we left the barn. Make sure it say TN SADDLERY or its not the real thing. Quilted Gaited Endurance Saddle. We are not just saddle makers, we are horse owners and riders. 6 3/4 Flared gullet with gaited bars. Great fit and great contact. Light weight only 22 pounds. For the feel of a leather saddle. New ecco friendly finish. Skirt, fenders and jockeys of strong quilted cordora nylon. Leather with nylon reinforced stirrup/fender straps. Prevents holes from stretching. Quality foam padded leather seat. We added a layer of foam between the bars and the fleece for additional comfort for your horse. Fenders positioned slightly forward for a balanced seat. Brass rings for’stuff. Leather foot pad on stirrups for better foot grip. Rear overskirt to give added strength so you can do crossfire rigging (not just secured to the skirt). Angled rear D’s. Reinforced double thick girth straps. We supply 2 full length girth strap with angled rear D for crossfire rigging. You can google crossfire rigging for instructions. Note: We have added a 3/8 layer of closed cell foam between the tree and the fleece. This gives a little more cushion and comfort for the horse. This foam is the same size as the fleece, so the entire underside of the saddle offers the additional softness. When used with the TN Saddlery Equi-fit gaited pad, you have a pad that fits the saddle and rounded shirts. In addition you offer the maximum comfort to your horse. The pad also helps prevent saddle slip. I now have short fenders available for this saddle. Call for info, brown or black. These saddles are built on a specially designed gaited tree. It works well on most Tennessee Walkers, Spotted Saddle Horses, Racking Horses, and most of the other southern gaited breeds. If you have a MFT, Paso Fino, or Rocky Mountain, gaited horse that is difficult to fit, contact me for my recommendations. This saddle does not seem to fit most Arabians.
