This is a rare tree size, vintage Crates, number 281, leather is in great shape, tree is tight, everything works. Width is 7″, wither clearance 5″, some stains and dings- shown in pictures, suede 15 seat, plenty of length in the fenders-they can come way out, Blevins style buckles, fleece underside, centerfire rigging, lots of rings and clips for gear. Great endurance saddle, runs 21.6 pounds with current stirrups, fits a lot of people and a lot of different horses. Currently has polymer stirrups with leather pads (they are very lightweight) but I do have endurance stirrups for sale.

This is a really great saddle. It has an equi-fit tree, Arabian size. I put a brand new billet and Latigo. It has been used a handful of times and has been well taken care of and its well made. Its stored inside in my living room. Crates saddles are very comfortable and made to last. It has a number system on the fenders making it really easy to adjust your stirrups to equal length. In my opinion this is a better value than a new saddle. The item “Crates Trail lite saddle 16″ is in sale since Thursday, November 11, 2021.
