One of the stirrup leathers tore so our local saddler replaced both leathers to make sure they are balanced. He also replaced the Blevins buckle part that needed replaced on both sides. The new leathers are lighter than the rest of the saddle but he said thats normal and they can be darkened easily by coating them with Mazola oil and putting the saddle out where the sun can hit them until they are the desired darkness. Otherwise, this saddle has been looked over by the saddle shop and looks to be in excellent working order and great condition aside from some minimal scuffs and scratches. Serial number indicates that this saddle was mfg in 1990 by the original Billy Cook. This is the real deal! Fleece is in great shape. Could use some more oil, as it has barely been used and mainly stored. Feel free to request more photos or ask any questions.
