What I have here is a very nice sturdy Hereford used ranch working saddle / Pleasure. This saddle has been on the family ranch since it was new. It has been a very nice working saddle for us. It has a 15.5 inch seat, 7 inch gullet. My son roughed it out, scraped off all the design and turned it into a rough out. He left the skirt alone still has nice tooling. The last picture faintly shows the Hereford emblem on the fender. He bought a new saddle, so now I need to sell this one. Saddle is in very good condition and is ready for work, roping , or just pleasure riding. Saddle Weight Around 35 Lbs. Thank you for looking. This hazelnut used McCall saddle is absolutely stunning. The saddle has rough-out seat jockey and fenders. The conchos are silver/ copper accompanied by single weave tooling with a crazy leg boarder. The black padded seat and back cinch are what tops off this stunning saddle. Gullet: 6.75 mid-concho to mid concho. Finished Seat Size: 16. Tree Size: 16.5. Hereford working ranch saddle with rope holder and tapaderos. Stirrups have what look like Cashel EZ knees stirrup rotators. I won’t swear they’re that brand but they look like them. Saddle is in good, but used condition. Fleece is in good condition. The two conchas at the base of the cantle are missing. It looks like someone removed the purposely – there’s no damage there. There’s small tacks in the leather around the rope holder hardware on the pommel – looks like it had a hard pull that tore the leather a bit. Rest of the saddle is in good condition for an older saddle. Besides, it’s a Hereford, so it’s built like a tank. See pictures for specifics on damage. Best I can tell the gullet is 6.75. The seat is 15″ to the front of the cantle, 15.25″ to the stitching. The previous owner said that he had his saddle maker restore the seat and fleece. The stitching has been mended. The leather on the back housing and skirt has some tiny surface cracks. Please see photos for reference. The skirt is somewhat stiff, but the saddle is usable. Ive oiled it, and it gets softer with each oiling. The fenders and jockey are roughout, and are flexible, not super soft, but not stiff. This saddle is NON RETURNABLE. This sale is FINAL. You have found a really good Circle Y saddle made right here in the great state of Texas in Mountain Home. This is designed for cutting however, you won’t find a better saddle for just about any ranch work, trail riding or show. This saddle has a good seat, good fenders no cracks, good stirrups, good skirt no cracks, good rawhide horn, a like new wool bottom and it comes with a latigo, off billet and a good girth. As you take a look at the images offered, you will see the detailed tooling, silver chonchos, silver skirt corner trim plates and even a silver Circle Y button that covers the top of the rawhide wrapped horn. The tooling looks great all around, on the skirt and on the fenders and again, no cracks. All the silver looks great. The the rawhide horn is in good shape and yea, the wool bottom looks near new. The billet is in good shape as well as the latigo and the girth. As you look at the images, you will see a small silver button at the bottom of the skirt about. S in Mountain Home. This saddle has a good seat, good fenders, good stirrups, good skirt, good rawhide horn, a like new wool bottom and it comes with a latigo, off billet and a good girth. As you take a look at the images offered, you will see the detailed tooling, silver c. Onchos, silver skirt corner trim plates and even a silver Circle Y button that covers the top of the rawhide wrapped horn. The tooling looks great all around, on the skirt and on the fenders. As you look at the images, you will see a small silver button at the very bottom of the skirt about 9″ to 10″ from the rear of the skirt. These are the buttons that snap leather cover where you attach your rear billets. No billets and rear girth? Just leave the flaps buttoned and you will have what you see.
