Highly Collectible Original Newton Porter Saddle owned by Actor Dale Robertson’s Wife. Porter Saddlery was a very high quality and prominent Saddlery in Phoenix Arizona. Newton Porter made custom saddles that were built for stars of stage, music, sports, as well as captains of industry and various others. Dale’s wife’s Uncle, Orville Bozarth was Sheriff of Prescott, Arizona in the 1950’s. This was his roping saddle that he used for roping and rode in Parades in Prescott. Her Grandfather, Bob Robbins was also Sheriff in Prescott before Orville. Saddle Strings were replaced 25 years ago.
