16 Custom Western Saddle. Western saddle in natural oil finish with black Pacific Northwest tooling and braided pommel and back skirt. Stainless “tribal” conchos added for a great look. Slick seat with endurance fenders which give the rider close contact so you can feel your horse and communicate leg yields better. Pre-turned stirrups for comfort. Built on a full quarter horse Steele Evolution tree that slightly flexes to the horses back. Fits the short backed horse with broad shoulders well as the skirting has been cut down. The leather isn’t even broken in yet. It’s in GREAT condition! It’s always been kept in a padded saddle bag and stored in my house (smoke free home) when not at a show! Handmade Porter ranch saddle. Definitely a cream Puff older extremely well made saddle! E in WONDERFUL used shape with highest grade supple strong leather – FQHB rawhide wrapped wood tree – 15 seat – in skirt rigging – perfect fleece – always taken care of – Will come with a rear cinch also. It’s an older saddle that was custom made and it has been lightly used and never abused. I used to rope with the Porters in the late 70’s / early 1980’s – always will fondly remember Mr Porter rolling up in his station wagon pulling a 2-horse straight load – and being not only a GREAT saddlemaker but an excellent horseman as well.
