Vintage Handmade Custom Western Saddle 15 seat

This custom handmade western saddle by the Lewisville, Idaho saddlemaker R. Olaveson has a beautiful patina from years of use. The saddle has no issues, no tears in the leather, and the tree is solid. The condition represents that of a vintage used saddle. The saddle weighs 36 lbs. Cantle has the initials “P J M”. The seat, latigo hanger, and rear jockey are all identified with the saddle maker’s name. Basket weave pattern tooling. Lining is in very good condition. Seat is not padded. This was my husband’s saddle and he has quit riding at 82. He says the saddle is very comfortable.
