The saddle is extremely lightweight (15 pounds) and will be perfect for any rider looking for a good lightweight saddle. Because the saddle is water proof, it is a breeze to clean up; just wipe with a damp cloth. No need for going through messy and long processes of oiling your saddle just to keep it in good condition. The saddle has a nylon bind around the corners making it tear proof. It comes complete with a matching head stall, breast collar, reins and a free pad! Soft fleece underside eliminates pressure points. Strong double reinforced fiber glass tree. Size: 15″ – 16″. Gullet: 6.75 Arabian Bars. Stirrups Length : 31” shortest to 37” longest. Extremely hard to find, this is a brand new Circle Y “Courage” John Wayne Commemorative saddle, of which only a limited number were made. This saddle is inspired by the saddle John Wayne chose to ride in many of his most memorable films, and features intricate hand-tooled floral designs, engraved brass rigging, sterling silver Mexican Peso conchos, and a individually numbered collector’s plate on the cantle back. This beautiful limited edition saddle by Circle Y Saddles is exclusively selected by Wayne Enterprises to celebrate the 100th birthday of John Wayne. Inspired by the original on display at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. This is saddle #67. Though this item has been kept very well, there is a small crack in the stand, pictured above, as well as a rub mark in the stand’s glazed finish. A hand-tooled floral pattern that covers the entire saddle including the brass rigging. Sterling silver Mexican Pesos adorn the saddle as conchos. Also included are a rawhide leather braided riata. A custom-made wood stand with tooled leather medallions. A book about John Waynes film history. We will include as a bonus the life-size cardboard cutout of John Wayne that was sent as promotional material for this saddle – never out of the package! Rawhide edged horn and cantle. ABR and German silver conchos. 8 gullet / full QH bars. 1.75 wide nylon reinforced leather stirrup straps with numbered holes. Hook style buckle stirrup adjustments.
